The Airbus A380: Welcome back on stage!

When the A380 demonstrator aircraft returned to Le Bourget this morning for its second appearance at the Paris Air Show 2011, it demonstrated how teamwork can resolve even the most challenging situation.
The aircraft first arrived at Le Bourget on Sunday, but damaged a wing tip during a taxi incident on its way to the static display area. It returned to Toulouse for repairs that were performed in a concerted effort that involved quick attention and action by a talented and dedicated Airbus team.
After two days of hard work, the team’s efforts paid off with the A380’s successful return to coincide with Airbus’ new, ‘Love at First Flight’ campaign, which emphasizes its commitment to airline operators and passengers worldwide.
Airbus will continue this campaign after the Paris Air Show, as it plans on showcasing passenger satisfaction of the A380 with its new heart branding device that’s now present on the aircraft. Airbus believes this is another way of ‘telling the story’ of the public’s love story with the A380.
